Dermal fillers effectively reverse the ageing process and are used as much to soften facial lines as to fill in wrinkles, elevate cheeks and reshape lips. The results are immediate.
It is an artistic process, because by combining the Botox and the fillers we can shape the contour of the face giving it a youthful and shiny appearance.
We all naturally lose volume in our face as we age. This leads to sagging skin, sunken cheeks and an aged look.
Small injections under the skin are a safe and reversible way to restore lost volume, smooth wrinkles and improve facial contours in a way that always looks completely natural.
What are dermal fillers used for?
Dermal fillers can serve to improve the following problems:

What Kind of Results Can You Expect From Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers last anywhere from four to six months, depending on the body metabolism and the injection site. The results are immediate with no downtime.
What to expect when getting dermal fillers?
During the procedure
Depending on the area you are treated, the area may first be lightly asleep with a topical cream. The area will be sterilised and the filler will be carefully injected. The whole process usually takes less than an hour and you will be able to resume your normal activities soon after.
During recovery
It is recommended limiting strenuous activity for 48 hours to facilitate faster healing, but you can usually resume a regular schedule immediately.
There will be some swelling, soreness, and bruising around the injection site, but this will clear up within a few days.
Profhilo
Profhilo® is an exclusive skin bio-regeneration treatment designed for skins that lack volume and elasticity. This therapy improves skin texture and fine wrinkles on the face and increases hydration and tone by stimulating the production of elastin and collagen through the slow release of hyaluronic acid.
How many treatments and what the duration of Profhilo®?
With Profhilo®, two treatments are performed four weeks apart from each other. Some patients may see results after the first week but the best will be seen four weeks after the second treatment.
The results of treatment with Profhilo® last six months, but the duration can also be longer and varies from person to person. A course of two treatments can be repeated every six months to maintain the results or as recommended during the consultation.
Profhilo® is NOT a filler. Its goal is not to fill in wrinkles but to bio-reshape.
On the day of treatment with Profhilo® it is advisable to avoid massages, facial cleansing, radiofrequency treatments and intensive sport. Avoid taking aspirin, NSAID analgesics and anticoagulants to reduce the risk of bruising. You can immediately resume your work and social habits.
